Shield Her is a professional compliance and governance advisory practice founded by Monika Dhawan, Company Secretary (CS), independent trainer, and trusted advisor in POSH, POCSO, ESG, Labour Law, and Corporate Governance.

Our Founder
Monika Dhawan is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience advising corporates, public sector undertakings, academic institutions, and government bodies. She combines strong legal acumen with hands-on implementation expertise, enabling organizations to translate law into actionable, sustainable, and legally defensible compliance systems.
She has collaborated with leading organizations, including Tata Motors Finance, delivering POSH training and compliance initiatives across their Northern and Southern business regions. She has also served as an External Member under the POSH Act, 2013 for over fifteen organizations, including IRCTC, University of Chicago, Stanford University, University of Warwick, and BAE India Systems Private Limited, supporting inquiry processes, governance oversight, and statutory compliance.
She has successfully handled complex POSH inquiries for corporates, provided end-to-end advisory support on Internal Committee constitution and functioning, and guided organizations through sensitive investigations with neutrality, legal precision, and procedural fairness.
A CBSE Class 10 Academic Topper, she brings discipline, clarity, and a commitment to excellence into every professional engagement.

Monika Dhawan is a Visiting Faculty at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, where she teaches communication skills, public speaking, and the professional relevance of the Company Secretary’s role in modern governance.
